All doctors and dentists training under a London LETB are able to self-refer to the NHS PHP HEE (London) service.
As of the 1st October 2015, PHP HEE (London) started accepting referrals from trainees with mental health and / or addiction issues and providing short term interventions.
Who is eligible?
Any postgraduate trainee doctors and dentists with a current London training number is eligible to self-refer to the new service. Initial contact can be made via email, phone (0203 049 4505) or through our website.
If you are not sure whether you are eligible please call 02030494505 and speak with a member of the PHP team who will help you (this can be done without having to disclose any identifiable information to the triage team).
How to access the service
You will be asked by the triage team to give a brief summary of the current issues/ problems you are facing. You will then be asked to attend either a face to face full assessment (booked at your convenience), or you will be asked for a convenient time for a clinician to call you back to discuss your case further, before being invited in for an assessment. All information provided by you will remain completely confidential.
Where is the new service based?
Initially all new assessments and addictions services will be provided at Riverside Medical Centre in Vauxhall, a short (2 min) walk from the tube, overground and bus station. Find us
